Wrong video on my disc
I need some help on a couple of questions. I finally got around to viewing my Babylon 5 Season 4 box set. I get to disc 4 and its the movie Cabin Fever!!!! What the ............
I checked the rest of my discs and they are ok.
Does anyone have a phone number so that I can call to get a replacement disc?
Does this type of mistake somehow make this disc valuable/rare since the cover is Babylon 5 yet the video is actually Cabin Fever?
Thanks,
Adios

Not specifically on this one, but it happened with the last release that Disney did with "Pinnochio." If I remember right the discs had "Prince of Egypt" on them.

Boy that is a strange rarity. The only disc mishaps I've only encountered is that I got duplicate discs in the Vista Series version of Pearl Harbor. Got two Disc 3's instead of a Disc 2.

Wow. That is one I have never heard of before either. Might be worth something on the die hard collector's market, but I doubt it. I would say to either contact the studio through the usual customer service channels or possibly return to the store where purchased (if you still can).

Maybe some weird cosmic switcharoo happened... and some poor bastard eagerly puts in Cabin Fever, grabs a beer and popcorn... then depression sets in.

I once received L.A. Confidential as a birthday present. First half was great! Second half was...Dances With Wolves?
My friends were able to return it to Best Buy for a replacement.

I bought it from DVD Soon in Canada. I'll send them a note and see what happens.
I'd still like to get a good phone number for Warner Brothers though.

As I recall, it was one of the el-cheapo cartoons, and the porn title may have been something similar, like Sleeping Beauties or something.
I have a copy of There's Something About Mary on DVD, but the disc artwork is actually from a promo version of the soundtrack.

I know that this is not thier fault necessarily, but I have to give a big
to DVD Soon. I have read horror stories about their customer service and order follow up, but that is moot.
Here is some info I just dug up from some surfing (I'm bored anyway):
Studio information that might be able to help you:
Warner Home Video DVD Department
4000 Warner Blvd.
Burbank, CA 91522-1543
Telephone: 818-954-6000
Fax: 818-954-6480
e-mail WB HV:

Good luck!

Cabin Fever? Isn't that produced by Lion Gate? lol That kindof weird that you got a disc from Warner Brothers with a movie from another company. But the problem did happen to be once: I bought Rosweel Season 1 and Disc 5 turned out to be Disc 5 of Angel Season 1, I just went to walmart and they returned it for me.

Anyone remember "MovieCD" from almost 10 years ago? Basically a proprietary AVI codec that came with player software to be watched on a PC... anyway, I got a copy of Jim Carey's "The Mask" that had half of "Ghost in the Shell" on one of the two discs instead of the appropriate half of "The Mask"... the disc art was for "The Mask"... I haven't run across it on any of my DVDs yet though. Definitely tripped me out on that movieCD...hehe

We have "Ghost in the Darkness" all the artwork is correct and even the menu is "Ghost in the Darkness", but go to sceen selection or play movie and it is "Ghost". Hubby found out when he was traveling one time. He was relly looking forward to watching it.

It happened to me once. I bought the Rocky Box Set about a year ago. I take a look at the discs, and when I get to Rocky IV, I see that the disc is for the movie Roadie. The store (Fry's) wouldn't take back the set, so I had to deal with MGM directly.
The problem finally was straightened out, but it took a long time.

This happened occasionally with vinyl records, the pressing plant would have a mix up and the wrong labels would be put on a record, or the wrong pressing masters would be used and each side would be from a different record. Typically these errors don't command high prices from collectors.
I'd presume that DVD production facilities aren't studio-specific and make DVDs for a number of companies, which could lead to a multi-studio mixup.

From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
Pressing plants will often manufacture discs for multiple studios, so it's not unlikely that if there is a labeling or pressing issue that it could be from films of two different studios.
This happened to a lot of people when the T2 Ultimate Edition 2-disc version came out - a lot of them had the right labels but had wrong films, like Jaws, on them.

There was a flaw with some of the Toy Story pressings where the second layer went to High Fidelity. The net effect was that kids watching the film would get a sudden cut to Jack Black screaming profanity, and then the disc would stop playing altogether.
