"Van Helsing - TLA" Review??
Ok, "Van Helsing - The London Assignment" is coming out this tues (5/11) and I haven't found any review on it. Has anyone seen one??
wow, almost 100 people and NOBODY cares about this DVD??
People care, there just aren't any reviews online yet.
I know I will be buying this on Tuesday, but I don't expect much. I have not seen any reviews yet online.
I saw it, it was okay but extremely short. I'll tell you this though it ties nicely into the movie as a prequel
Wonder if they'll pack it in w/ the eventual DVD release of the movie?

A friend of mine has this (he own's a video rental). It's only 30 minutes long and serves as a prequel to the movie (focusing on Van Helsing's first encounter with Mr. Hyde). My friend loved it, despite it's short length. He tells me it was done anime style. I've yet to borrow it from him, though, so I can't say more than what he told me about it.

Ill be buying this on Tues since its only $10 at Best Buy. Loved the movie, and im looking forward the this prequel even thought there is no Kate Beckinsale

Just got it for $9.59 at Costco. Not bad at all. It's not great but was good fun. Production I.G. participated in the animation. It's not their best work but it's not their worst. It's like seeing what Production I.G. would produce if they were making Saturday morning cartoons.
The transfer is pretty good and the audio, though not spectacular, sounds good as well. It's basically a combination of elements from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (the comic book, not the movie) and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, albeit a low rent cousin as far as animation and artwork are concerned. |
