Region 2 Triplets of Belleville art/disc
For some reason I recall seeing some really nice artwork for the Region 2 (maybe even another region) Triplets of Belleville DVD
It seemed like it had a tannish slip cover that looked like an old time radio, with a window of the 3 ladies. I have searched the net high and low but to no avail...
Am I hallucinating this?!
Someone help me out please
thanks.

Anyone familiar with region 2 buying, know a good place to pick this up? or any details on a release date/contents?
Thanks again

It's a French release. Here is a review of the disc.
If you go for the French release, I suggest you get it from Fnac , as it at their site comes with a separate dvd with the short (25 min) La Vieille dame et les pigeons (The Old Lady and the Pigeons), also very funny (no subs, but even less needed than on Triplettes; Most of the talking is in American, anyway).

Keep in mind that the beautiful French disc does not have English subs.

I know that the R1 lists subtitles, but when I watched it a few days ago (yes I had it early) there were NO subtitles anyway. Strangely, they did show in the making of docs. Not really necessary to have them IMO.

Anyway, unless anyone resently has heard words to the contrary, I would recommend avoiding Cinestore. Word this winter/spring on various European forums is that they are having trouble, and that their customer service is no longer much good (fwiw, my only experience with them over the last year was not a good one).

Cinestore was bought by a huge financial group in France that restructured the debt they had....and sadly did not improve their communication issues. On the contrary they have become quite slow.
For French releases I would look elsewhere.
