Value Of Collections

Does anyone know of a website that lists current values of dvds? I know there has to be somethin like that out there on the world wide web, i would love to know what some of my oop stuff is worth and some other dvds i have..........

DVDTracker.com lists values based on MSRP vs actual price paid.

Sounds like you want something that takes into account collector's interests.

I would say run a search through Ebay to see what current market values are being produced.

Well, you can unfortunately assume your collection as a whole what you paid up front for it. Like any personal use asset, the values of your DVDs aren't going to appreciate, save a select few OOP titles.

In fact, if I were to compare the fair market value of my collection to the actual amount I paid for it, I'd probably cry.

On the other hand, it's my pride and joy, so to me it's priceless.

Of course, there is a difference between actual market value and insurable/replacement value. So it depends what you're trying to figure out.
