Disney Treasures Tomorrowland set out of stock already?

Amazon has three of the new Disney Treasures up for advance order, but the Tomorrowland set is listed as being out of stock so you can't advance order it. Since these aren't due to be released for a few weeks yet, anyone have any idea why they're not accepting advance orders for this particular one?

Could they have sold out the # of advance copies that they will be getting? They are supposed to be limited in number.

Better hurry yourself to a B&M store when it hits the street.

I thought at least part of the reason these were delayed was because they were increasing the production numbers to meet demand...

It's not anymore. By the way does DDD have the Treasures listed? I couldn't seem to find them.

I bet its a mistake; it can't be the most popular one...

Kind of defeats the point of a limited run. But who knows, Eisner is probably overseeing this sense Roy left. Anyway the reason they were delayed was they couldn't get enough of the metal tins manufactured by the original release date.

Got mine a little early. Havn't had a chance to check out the discs, but the tins are not numbered like before, instead there is a certificate inside stating the number. They're limited as follows...
Mickey Mouse in Living Color 175,000
On the Front Lines 250,000
Tomorrow Land 105,000
Chronological Donald 165,000

Looks like Disney thought Tomorrow Land would not be the most popular either.

Pretty sure he's referring to "Mickey Mouse in Living Color" volume 2.

Tomorrow Land will probably be kinda boring, but I'll probably get it unless of course it's censored.

Heads up, just caught a thread at the Home Theater Forum:
http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htfo...=&pagenumber=5

The last poster says that DVD Empire sent an email saying this title has been canceled.

Hope that isn't true.

I got this e-mail from DVDEmpire! This just figures. BTW, diavalle, I would hold on to that copy of yours. It may really be worth something. It could be a limited 1 of 1.

no way! I've seen these documentaries and they're brilliant. They're just like the instructional shorts on MST3000. Most of the documentaries are dated and campy, but very well made and have an innocent nostalgia to them. Maybe it's just me......

I've got my copy in hand, so if it's cancelled, they've done a poor job.

Seeing how they pulled Ed Wood right before it was supposed to street, I wouldn't put it past Disney.

I hope that it still isn't happening.

Yes but it's already made and produced. At this point even Eisner wouldn't be dumb enough to do that!

Errr... Ed Wood was already 'made' and 'produced' too. They pulled it about 2 weeks before the street date. Many of us (including me) have it in our collections.
