Will there be an American Pie boxset?

I've been waiting on picking up these movies individually...once American Wedding came out I thought for sure they'd release a box with 1, 2, Wedding, and the extras disc...but they didn't.

Anyone know if there are any plans for this or should I just buy them individually?

This will undoubtedly happen. Eventually.

Get:
- American Pie: Unrated Collector's Edition
- American Pie 2: Unrated Collector's Edition
- American Wedding: Unrated Gift Set

The gift set includes the three and a half hour documentary American Pie Revealed which goes over FULL detail about the trilogy and then some. The documentary will make every re-release of the trilogy seem pointless.

There's supposed to be a boxed set to coïncide with the theatrical release of "American Pie 4: Pie ****ers on Patrol" this Fall.

I'd say pick them up individually. There's quite a few extra's on all the DVDs. American Pie UE and American Wedding Gift set should keep you going, don't know what else they could have that we haven't seen.

If you bought the American Wedding gift set (the one with the Stifler T-shirt), you can make your own box set as all 4 DVDs fit into that box perfectly.

I've been having the same dilema. I know that one of these days Universal is going to release "American Pie The Franchise Collection" with all 3 films and the bonus documentary on one two-double sided discs--I just don't know when (although I predict it will be one week after I break down and buy the individual releases)

Just heard from Universal that the fourth AP film has been re-titled:

Pie 4: The Revenge

I sure hope there wont be another American Pie set. Go to amazon and type in American Pie under DVD and just see how many incarnations of three films you get. There can't possibly be a market for.

Saying that you hope there won't be more incarnations of this set is pretty selfish. What about people who just bought DVD players this year? Don't THEY deserve yet another repackaging of the same stale content?

Oh, and more bad news on the American Pie 4 front.

They've changed the working title to:

American Pie IV: The Quest for a Piece

The widescreen set will have a bonus disc that the full screen won't and the full screen set will have a bonus disc that the widescreen set won't. Buy both and save! $174.99 at

ROTFL

What I don't understand is why the collector's edition of Wedding came with that big box but noone at Universal thought "Gee since we have this box, why not make it to accomodate the rest of the discs in the series?" They just make it big enough for that stupid T shirt! It seems like every anime series is doing that already!

Attention New Linw and PJ: MAKE THAT LOTR TRILOGY BOX AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING FO THOSE OF US THAT HAVE SUPPORTED YOU FROM DAY ONE.

Trouble again on the set of AP4. Now it's about a new kid coming up to get his freak on with baked goods. It's called:

American Pie: Episode IV: A New Slice
