Alien Quadrilogy vs. old Alien Legacy boxset?

Before I sell off my old Alien Legacy boxset, does anyone know if each and every single little special feature made the transition to the Quad, including the stuff on the 5th mail-in bonus disc? If not, anyone care to list all the special features that are ONLY on the Legacy set? Thanks!

You might want to run a search. There was a lengthy thread about this back when the new set came out.

Why not wait until you buy Alien Quadrilogy and then compare them yourself to determine if you want to keep both?

5th bonus disc from first set is NOT INCLUDED in the new Quadrilogy. The only other major feature not ported over is the old Ridley Scott commentary (solo on the first set). That is basically it.

IIRC the isolated score from the first Alien is also missing.

Trailers have been moved from the movie discs to the special 5th disc.

I basically upgraded because I was able to sell Alien Legacy for the cost of the Quadrilogy at Costco back in the day.(around $41) I wouldn't have upgraded otherwise.

Mine's winging its way from amazonJP at the end of May (the Head release was postponed ny a month).

Yeah, I know, I was just being facetious. Unfortunately I missed out on buying it, myself.

How much was shipping for that thing anyway?

Y900=USD8.15, approximately .
AmazonJP counts it as one unit, for which the cheapest shipping option is Y900 to Norway, where I live (I think the US is about the same), and they're nice enough to stand by their shipping estimate. For items this large and heavy they'll in my experience normally upgrade to DHL Express courier, no extra charge.

900 yen for shipping? Damn, thats great! It's nice that Amazon doesn't adjust the shipping price when they actually find out how much the weight and size of the product is (unlike HMV Japan for example)
Damn, I wish I ordered this.

The only time I've had AmazonJP adjust shipping on me was once I was foolish enough to make a change to a preorder just before shipping. They adjusted the shipping costs up some, but I'm fairly sure it was still well below cost for them.
