Clone Wars listed at Amazon

The Clone Wars - no release date or specs yet. The page is mostly likely a place-holder - but it is our first indication that something is out there.

. . . . if Amazon hasnt screwed up, that is.

Figured I'd post a warm "I can't wait for this" before the usual Star Wars riff raff muck things up again.

Fun little series.

Very much looking forward to this. Really gave a new look on the SW universe.

Well we can already assume they'll be at least one comm since they were already done for CartoonNetwork.com.

This toon reinvented/reinvigurated the Star Wars uni to me much in the same way the Batman Animated series did in the 90's. I know the guy who did this did Samurai Jack. For those of you who've seen that series would you say it as good, if not better, than the Clone Wars mini's? With SJ season one right around the corner I'm thinking of giving that a go. I need more of this animation in my life.

I wasn't much of a fan of Samurai Jack, but I enjoyed season 2 of clone wars a great deal. I can't wait for the Maquettes to come out in august, september, october and november. all over them.

I can see a max MSRP of $19.99 on this. It was only slightly more than an hour of video wasn't it?

Guys - you're all slipping. It's been a couple of hours now and nobody has accused Luca$ of eating babies yet. Did I get transported to a Bizzaro dimension or something?

Yeah, with the credits edited out, it was just a touch over an hour (68 min, if I recall correctly).

If they stream it all together (ie no logo stuff in the begining) I'm all for it.

68 minutes of joy. Which is pretty much in like with most cartoon DTV. I hope this is aimed more towards the star wars fan than kids, only in hopes that they include a nice featurette on how it was working with Lucas, the making of, tying to stories together...etc. I love that kind of stuff.

These cartoons are no where near as good as those old Rankin/Bass Lord of the Rings cartoons.

This has been listed on Amazon for a while now with no price or release date. I never saw these, but I would assume they would be available a little closer to Episode III.
