Hello,

I have a question on the Night of the Living Dead DVD.

I want to buy it but I would like to see it in color - I've heard that it was released in color but I want make sure not one scene was changed or anything was taken out.

So what do you reccomend? Buy the black and white original or is the color remake just as good?

No question buy the original in B&W.

The original 1968 film was shot and released in black and white.

The 1990 remake was shot and released in color.

Get the Millenium Edition (on Elite) of the original.

The original B&W film is an undisputed classic.

But the color remake is quite good. It was produced by George Romero, who directed the original, and directed by horror-makeup guru Tom Savini, so it has good credentials, too. I also feel that Patricia Tallman is much better as the female protagonist in the remake than Judith O'Dea is in the original.

The Millennium Edition of the original and the SE of the remake are excellent DVDs.

definately. I also recommend as everyone else has, the Millenium Edition of the original b/w. I really like the remake too (i'm not a big fan of remakes either), Tom Savini did a great job. I also agree that Patricia Tallman was better, the slight reworking of the Barbara character is great.
