Master & Commander disc 1 problem?
Started watching the film, disc 1 of the Collector's Edition:
Right off the bat, the opening text sequence "1805..." jitters and distorts. All is fine with the remaining text sequences.
Does anyone else see this? Can another buyer please check this out and let me know? Perhaps just a flawed disc for me. If so, back to Best Buy I go.

no problems at all here. next time...list the make and model of dvd player you are using. also, try it on another player if possible. clean your lense of late?

Is your TV properly calibrated? Sometimes if I have it in the wrong mode (vivid or sport) text becomes jaggedity and blurry. May want to tweak the sharpness and turn edge enhancement off. I recommend Digital Video Essentials disc for proper calibration.

I'm going to go ahead and exchange the set.
Don't think it's a player issue, as the rest of the film is flawless.
I'm projecting a 106" image through component connects, from my Denon DVD3800 to a Sanyo WXGA projector.
Looking closely at the disc today, there are some small scratches.
