Universal Studios Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The Bourne Identity Explosive Extended Edition for 13th July 2004 with a retail price of $29.98. Ooh, lawd, talk about a nasty looking cover. That's one of the worst I've ever seen. I enjoyed this movie, so I may check this out some way or another. I am looking forward to the sequel this summer. Thanks for the info!

I'm perfectly happy with the current version. I hope the new ending isn't the "Never-Before-Seen" Alternate Ending" that is on the original disc because it was absolutely terrible, and a hundred times worse than the perfectly fine ending the film has.

The current release has an excellent transfer and DTS soundtrack, will not double dip on this.

Um....no. I'll keep my dvd which is good as it is. Why the hell do they need a rerelease, its already a loaded C.E. Anyway, the "explosive" shit is probably just the alternate stuff on the dvd already. What a waste...

I'll stick with the current version... I do hope Universal packs free tickets to their sequals though, like they did with TFATF, since I don't have Pitch Black yet. |
