Oh boy oh boy, this is what I've been waiting for. I was very happy when a dark animated series about Batman hit TV when I was younger, and now finally it's going to be on DVD. Well deserved series on a well deserved DVD set. Fantastic.

I'd wait until Warner officially announces the title, then it is in concrete. The Previews Catalog is a comic book magazine, and has previously been wrong.

I'd like to strongly note that the price above is most likely not the m.s.r.p., but an expected actual transaction price.

Sessa17,
Just like The Infidel said, the Superfriends was a cartoon, mae in the 70's I think, based on the Justice League characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc. They battled with the League of Doom made up of their adversarial counterparts like Lex Luthor, the Joker, the Cheetah, etc.
Calhoun07,
As for the Batman Beyond sets, I think it is still up in the air. While a WB chat said there would be sets, Toonzone.net reported WB writing them to correct the fact that series like Justice League, Teen Titans and Batman Beyond would only come out in individual discs for the time being, but they do plan on putting all the episodes out.
Now that we heard about the release of Batman and Superfriends, the only one to wait for is the release of the Superman Animated Series which will be released in smaller volumes.

I still say those three shows would sell like crazy in collection sets. I can't believe we are still having this problem with WB after all this time. This is so 1999. I thought they were coming around on all their animated properties.

The new Batman Beyonds have 6 episodes each on them -they are the same as the VHS version except they fit two on one disc.

Anyone know what the first 27 Batman TAS episodes were in production order or a link?
