Dawn of the Dead - first 8 mins, on DVD?

I did a search and did not see anything about this.

Dvdaficianado has a listing for a promo DVD of the remake of DOTD.

Anybody know anything about this? Says its the first 8 mins of the movie. I looked on Ebay and did not see anything.

Does this disc exist?

I have seen it on ebay. I think it is part of some kind of promotional package for the film. It came with pictures pens and other stuff.

I think they showed it on USA network or some network one night. People probably recorded it and are selling bootlegs. I see no POINT in buying the first 8 minutes anyways.

It's an official promotion from the company. We have a couple copies sitting around the newspaper where I work. It comes on a mini-DVD, about 3 inches in diameter

it's a promotional item from Universal.

Oh, oh, I know! Because it's a DVD, and this is DVDTalk, a place where we "Talk" about "DVDs"

Seriously, people are interested in it, hence why they started the thread. It's somewhat a collector's item, a little curioscity that some people might get a kick out of

Well, it's cool to know something like this exists. But why any of you would want to spend money for a disc, and the money for the shipping, and spend about at least half of the price this movie will be when it gets released in FULL on DVD later this year, when you can keep your money, and wait four or five months for the official full length release on DVD.

hold onto yer hat....but this forum actually has a few serious collectors. you can throw all that stuff out the window...a collector wants it and will pay whatever and do whatever...to get it.

Someone please explain this to me: Why do people constantly click on threads where it is obvious that they don't care about what is being discussed in them, when you can tell the content of the thread by reading the title? Thanks.

Yeah, unfortunately I am a collector, but only when it comes to movies I really like.

I collect comics dvd's and cd's. Hell, I even kept my ticket stub from DOTD to put in my dvd when I get it.

Thanks guys.
