Criterion Unbearable Lightness of Being OOP??
I thought Unbearable Lightness of Being was an OOP Criterion title? I see that Amazon.ca has it on sale with a 20% off too! Whats up with this? Is it coming back into print again? I need to know before I blow $50+ on Ebay for it.

Amazon.ca has a number of OOP Criterions erroneously listed for sale. It is true that there were still some copies of The Unbearable Lightness of Being in stock with some etailers about a year ago, but they're long gone. Ebay is likely your best bet (the MGM release is also long OOP).

You could try ordering it and see if they actually have any in stock.
Heck, it's worth a shot, right?

Last time I checked, the MGM version of "Unberable Lightness of Being" was out of print, too.

I have the Criterion version - just unwrapped it, actually, but I haven't watched it yet.
Is this going for big bucks now? I only bought it because it was like, $15 at DDD, and I try to pick up the OOP Criterions in case I ever want them. I've had this one for two years now and still haven't even watched it, so it can't exactly be calling to me.

I just sold my extra sealed copy on Ebay for $51 about 2 weeks ago. That is about the highest price I have seen it fetch in the past few months. An opened copy should get you in the $35 - $45 range.
