Universal takes over miamivice.com....dvds soon?
A guy was selling dvds and vhs tapes of MV episodes off his url www.miamivice.com for a while. Recently Universal has taken over his site....you think that means they may be setting up for possible DVD release info? Or just shutting the guy down for selling dvd's and vhs tapes.
Rumor has it that the music rights cost is being taken care of. How great would a 20th Anniversary Season 1 DVD be!!!!

I just read the same thing last night. I also read a post from a person in Britain that Universal is supposed to have aquired world wide rights to the music on season one. Im starting to wonder if we might see MV on dvd after all. Hope that was true what I read!

I wonder how Universal will screw up the packaging on THIS release...
It's my favourite part of DVD-release prospecting.

AFAIK they have only released a couple of episodes on dvd in R2 - no season sets. man, i wish they could sort the royalties-issues out and release this classic 80's series...
here is what's available. i have no idea about the transfer quality, etc.

On a totally unrelated note it appears they also have released Battlestar Galactica 2003 miniseries R2 out on dvd I guess it's time to invest in a multi-region dvdplayer.
