Spartacus: Criterion Collection - Watching this in honor of one of the greatest screen perfomances of all-time & a truly great talent.
Then I'm going to listen to the complete commentary which also has Ustinov on it.
This will probably take me all week to get through the movie twice.
If I have time I will sprinkle in some Penn & Teller: Bulshit as well.
And then off to see Hellboy over the weekend. Way to early in the year to have my most anticipated movie of the year to come out. It's all down hill from there.

Monday: Stargate SG1 season 6 disc 3 (listening to the commentaries, some were enjoyable, others weren't)
Tues: House of Sand & Fog (glad I rented it first, may purchase later when it's cheap), CSI season 3 disc 1 (again listening to the commentaries which are kind of dull quite frankly)

Monday
A Summer Place - Melodrama salvaged by a Max Steiner score. 4/10
Mostly Martha - Lukewarm dramedy. 4/10
Drunken Angel - Early Kurosawa-Mifune film-noir. 7/10
Decalogue: 2 - Very dry. 5/10
Tuesday
Sidewalks of New York - The sort of thing better left to Woody Allen. 4/10
Ikiru - Simply inspiring. 9/10
Decalogue: 3 - The best one so far. 6/10
Wednesday
Ulee's Gold - Noir-ish, but too slow. 6/10
The Miracle of Morgan's Creek - Another Sturges classic. 9/10
Thursday
Dark Blue World - Czech flick that feels very Hollywood. 6/10
Crimson Gold - Interesting but there's a big plot flaw. 6/10
The Secret Garden - Would have liked it to be more gothic. 5/10
Decalogue: 4 - Disturbing and oddly compelling. 8/10
Friday
Stromboli - Was ok, I liked La Terra Trema a lot more. 6/10
Hero - My favorite film from last year. 10/10
In the Mood for Love - More Chris Doyle goodness. 10/10
Decalogue: 5 - Odd tale of Karma. 7/10
Saturday
Spinning Boris - Interesting story, very blah presentation. 5/10
The Major and the Minor - Definitely more funny now than when it came out. Except the ending which dragged. 7/10
The Magical Life of Long Tack Sam - A very personal film but furstrating. 5/10
Detour - Early fatalistic film-noir. 8/10
The Turandot Project - Interesting and entertaining. 7/10
Decalogue: 6 - Achingly funny. 7/10
Sunday
Twilight of the Ice Nymphs - As someone smart said "There's such a fine line between stupid and clever." 3/10
Images - Looks great but it never really gets beyond its premise. 5/10
Decalogue: 7 - This one was a letdown after the last couple. 5/10
