Treeline's Sci-Fi classics 50 movie set?

Does anyone have a movie listing for this? It was to be released March 23rd, but I haven't seen hide nor hair of it and I'm dying to know what movies it includes.

Thanks for the help!!!

Aside from a couple of titles listed on the cover, that thread doesn't answer his question.

Yes and no - it lists about half of the movies, and provides contact information for the company - which, with a little leg work, is the next best thing.

Any reviews of previous sets? I had to smile at this DVD...

MST3K fans will instantly recognize this graphic of old Joe Don from Mitchell!

I've searched and searched and all I've found is the cover - even called Treeline directly at the # on theor site but no one there would pass on the information - very weird vibe from that company(?).

The company also advertises their sets at some places for over $100, but their ads in Video Store magazine list the SRP at $29.95. Weird vibes? Yes, it seems there is something shady here IMHO. I will pass on their product.

sci fi set

The listing of movies is up - and it appears that the movies included has changed a great deal from the original graphic of the box.

Things to come, Rocket ship (XM?), Gorgo, Devil Girl From Mars, The Brain Machine, Monster From Green Hell, THe Lost World, GIant From The Unknown, King Dinosaur and the Thing with Two Heads are no longer included in the set. I'd imagine thats why the rep I spoke to was so secretive about what movies were to appear?...

Here's the final listing:

What kind of quality do these 50 movie sets have? Are the images fairly good?

Expect a very mixed bag. I've got the Family Favorites set and the video quality ranges from good (The General) to unwatchable (Bowery Boys). These are not "restored" in any sense of the word, merely a collection of what was available.

Yeah, it really depends on the source. The TV show set I have are all pretty good, but nothing I'd write home about. Above VHS quality to be sure, but not much beyond that.
