Details on Batman and Superman TAS sets! (Plus others)
Courtesy of Toonzone.net by way of TVshowsondvd.com
Each Batman set will contain 4 discs and between 24-28 episodes in the set. Expect it to be priced around $64.95, the same as The Hanna Barbera sets which WB has released. The set will also contain extras including interviews, commentaries, information about the heroes and villians, and more.
The Superman sets will contain 2 discs, and should also contain extras including interviews, commentaries, information about the heroes and villians, and more.

I think these are some of the best cartoons produced recently and worth the pickup.

It's about time! WB could have made so much money on these by now and we could have the entire series on DVD by now if they just stopped dragging their feet earlier.
I do have to wonder why they seem to be respecting animation on DVD so much now. What happened??

I don't care how much they charge, I will buy these sets no matter what. I just hope it doesn't take too long to get them all released. At the rate described, there'll be about 5-6 Batman sets
total, and about 4-5 for Superman. That sounds like a couple of years (or more) to me. Hopefully they sell really well and WB decides to give Batman Beyond and Justice League the same treatment. On that same note, I hope that JL season 3 is good, I want to see more returning characters from Batman and Superman (Read: Batgirl, Supergirl, Robin, Nightwing, and Lois Lane!!)

Same goes for Justice League and Teen Titans for me =)
Batman Beyond ... is ehh for me tho. Skinny teenager in tights who talks too much doesn't work for me.

But skinny teenage hottie in tight dresses works for me.
bring on beyond as well. Looks like I will be able to clear up a lot of room on my hard drive once these come out.

I believe it was from 1992 to 1995. Does anyone know how many total episodes were made and how many box sets will be released?

At what episode did Batman TAS switch to Batman and Robin, or something along those lines? I rember around the time when the Bane epsiode came out, the theme and opening sequence had changed.
I actually perfered the second them as it wasn't based so heavily on Danny Elfman's. I hope each cartoon has the proper opening, not like GI Joe season 1.
