Trainspotting: SE extras break-down by disc?
I have looked at both dvdanswers and davisdvd and can't find an answer to this. Does anyone have a break-down of which extras will be on which disc of the new 2-Disc Trainspotting DVD? I know the commentary will be on disc 1, but I am unsure about everything else.

"Please be aware that this version is still the 94 minute cut, only with the few seconds of "racy" footage (removed for the MPAA) and un-dubbed Scottish brogue restored as in the Criterion laserdisc and previous Buena Vista DVD versions."
Personally, I'm all over this one for the new anamorphic transfer... I could really care less about the extras.

The "Unrated" version is the reason I wanna know. I plan on keeping my Canadian SE and just swapping it with Disc 1 of the new 2-Discer if i'm not losing any "good" extras.

When Disney acquired Miramax, the days of unrated theatrical and video releases were over...
So, does that mean when Harvey buys Miramax back, we'll get a DVD of "54" with all the material that was cut put back in the movie?

Well, BVHV is releasing an "Unrated" version of Bad Santa this year, so it's not like there's a LAW about releasing unrated films.
There was talk early on about releasing an unrated version of Trainspotting, but instead we get this same non-theatrical cut on the previous LD and Canadian DVD version. That's fine by me.
I saw this in the theatre (twice) and thought it was brilliant. A few more seconds of violence or sex isn't going to matter much.

The current DVD from BV is the uncut version with the original Scottish dialogue. The Canadian version is the cut version. I don't see why the cut version would be coming out in June. I think DavisDVD is wrong on this one.

When we say cut and uncut version, are we talking simply dialogue? What sorts of scenes wouldn't be in the American version?

The shot of Renton pulling off the condom in silouette was in the theatrical version of the film.
But there was some energetic bouncing breast shots that were cut.

I started watching this last night, and thought I saw a few things I didn't remember seeing in the theater or my VHS. Can anyone give me an idea of what to look for?

Anamorphic widescreen transfer International cut of film with commentary
DTS soundtrack
Cannes Film Festival interviews
Interviews with the filmmakers
Deleted scenes with optionial commentary
