I wanna rent Beastmaster season 1, 2 and 3 from Netflix but all they have is some corny old movie listed. Anyone know why Beastmaster isn't rent-able on Netflix?

Earth: Final Conflict, another show released by ADV onto DVD also isn't listed. Perhaps there's a connection?

you wouldn't have the Beastmaster season 1, 2, or 3 if it wasn't for that "corny, old" movie.

besides, Beastmaster rocks. that's one of my favorite guilty pleasures. it's enhanced even further by the scantily clad delights of one Ms. Tanya Roberts, who i must say looks almost as good in this one as she did in Sheena (her utter lack of clothing in many parts of Sheena being the sole reason i place her performance in that film over her role in Beastmaster).

So, you like the lame, cheesy series, but think the original movie is corny? The movie is way better. I guess you think the Tarzan show with the underwear model is better than Greystoke too? If you like the show & haven't seen the movie, check it out. And if you've seen the movie & didn't like it- how could you like the show? The movie is anamorphic & DTS, with some good extras- wasn't there one that let you watch Tanya Roberts' breast scene seperately?

i like Beastmaster cause of Emilie de Raving she played Curpia or something like that in about 6 eps in season 1 and 2.

I've sent several requests to them for this show on DVD. I've been wondering if there was some reason they didn't have it.
