Now that we have seasons 1 & 2 of Scooby-Doo...

All we need is the 1978-1979 season. It includes episodes such as "Watch Out! The Williwaw!", "A Menace in Venice", and "Jeepers, It's the Jaguaro." To me, it is the only season of Scooby, after seasons 1 & 2, that is any good. It doesn't have Scrappy Doo, and the episodes are very like the season 1 & 2 episodes. I hope there are plans to release this season on dvd.

Yeah, I would also love to have the other episodes with Scooby-Dum and the "waterskiing intro"! After those, the show just wasn't the same with Scrappy.

200 views, huh? Well I know I didn't make any earth shattering obervations, but does anyone else agree that the '78-'79 season was very much like seasons 1 and 2? And does anyone know of plans to release it on dvd?

I'd love to see the 78'-79' season released on dvd as well as the 76'-77' Scooby-Doo if just for Scooby-Dum. Those are the only two seasons I feel I am missing from a collection. I am not aware of any plans to release these seasons, but I'm all for it if it happens and I would buy them.

If overpriced at $50 like the current release, I think I'll pass.
Warner gives us Gilligan's Island for $30 and wants $50 for Scooby Doo.

I have no problem with the price, but I'm afraid many people do. I hope this doesn't cause poor sales and then no more releases. I want all the original scooby episodes, and i must have every episode of the Flintstones. They were both around $40 at best buy if you buy both, that is a steal to me.
