yes it does, WB didn't even bother retaining the 6-track soundmix that was on the 70mm prints of the film. This DVD should at least have been in 5.1 Dolby Digital sound.

I just finished Buffy season 5. Starting to watch Alias season 2. Will probably take the whole week to watch them all.

Zatoichi: 2-Disc set (Katano 2003 remake) - Wow!!!! Absolutely F'n phenomenal. Maybe some of the most bad-ass swordplay ever filmed. Didn't think Beat could pull off the role but he was excellent. Also, the movie was funnier than I though it would be. Extremely violent but the humor worked as well.
