I haven't received my Zatoichi DVD as yet...nor have i seen it in theaters...so have a question for Sessa 17 or anyone who may have seen this on DVD/Theaters.
What's the PQ like of the DVD?...i've heard reports that it appears very 'washed out' and was wondering if this was how it appeared in Theaters? |

Just bought 21 grams, so I'm definitely watching that. Need to watch Schindler's List as well. Maybe High Fidelity (just rebought it for $10 as I had given my old copy away a year or so ago).

Despite it being simply a brilliant movie, I mean it's Samurai perfection, I thought that the PQ was rather dissapointing. Whenever it was dark on screen, the colors were very murky, almost too dark. But even with that & the second disc without english subs, the movie is so good it's still a must own IMO. |
