Happy Days, Mork and Mindy, Laverne & Shirley THIS YEAR!
Here is a link to the full story:

Basically all three of the above shows are coming out this summer, Confirmed by Paramount. Taxi is being worked on, with no specific time periods stated in the article.
Also, according to someone who spoke to Sherwood Schwarz, they are also working on Brady Bunch (not confirmed by Paramount, though). SS has no control on that one.
Good stuff!

I hope they keep releasing everything as fast as they can but there is no way my DVD budget can handle all this stuff coming out this year. So, I hope everything that does come out will stay in print for a long, long time.

I don't think I can get into those shows again. But Happy Days w/original Arnold's Karate Kid Pat Morita was good.
How many episodes had Stretch Cunningham?

I think you mean Chuck Cunningham, the rarely talked about older brother to Richie and Joanie. Chuck only appeared in the first 4 or 5 episodes of the first 1974-1975 season.
Stretch Cunningham was Archie Bunker's friend on ALL IN THE FAMILY.

You're right. I got confused with the names. But he was a basketball player, right? Always carrying a ball around. Haven't seen it in a long time.

Other changes from the first season...
I'm always fascinated with the first seasons of classic sitcoms (see my post about Facts of Life in the Who's the Boss thread elsewhere on this board). Happy Days is no exception.
Some elements of Season 1 that casual viewers may not be prepared for:
1. The Theme Song is "Rock Around The Clock" by Bill Haley, not the "Sunday Monday, Happy Days" theme we always hear on syndication.
2. The aforementioned Chuck. poor, phased-out Chuck. They would later do the reverse of this early on in the Cosby Show and introduce Sandra, the oldest daughter.
3. The layout of the Cunningham family home: In the first season, the front door was on the left! There was simply no contextual logic to the refit of the living room for the following seasons. Of course, the new layout DID look better. Feng Shui and all that.
Good times. Any show that owes its roots equally to American Grafitti and an episode of Love, American Style, can't be all bad.

I always thought that was funny with Chuck on Happy Days, the way he just dissapeared.I use to always ask people where Chuck went and they never even knew who i was talking about. For awhile i thought maybe i had just imagined him since i was very young during the first HD season.

Was there one in Happy Days? I was serious about that. There definitely is a attempted rape episode of L&S. I caught it last year on Nick.
I don't remember all the details, except one of the girls was set up on a date, and he chased her around the apartment and tried to rape her. Then Laverne (or was it Shirley?) came home, they beat the crap out of him and made him promise never to come back.
This is all set to a laugh track. Shocking stuff. Hard to believe such a thing was even considered remotely funny back in '79.

Ahhh, Mork & Mindy. I remember watching the premier of that show when I was a kid.
As an adult, I saw reruns and loved watching Pam Dawber try to keep from blowing the scene by laughing as Williams ran off into some crazy improv.
Many people don't like the later seasons w/ Jonathon Winters, but I loved them. Winters and Williams when paired together are total chaos.

Are you talking about the one where Shirley is working with the Beer testing guy? She gets drunk on "Skuzzy" beer and he tries to get it on with her, but Laverne comes to the rescue, he refuses to leave but Carmine convinces him to leave the office.
Is that the one?
