Streetcar and Monorail are a couple of my favorite episodes.
Weird thing, though--even though I have access to Simpsons shows roughly 572 times a year, thanks to syndication, I have only seen Streetcar twice. Perhaps that's why it's one of my favorites....
Does anyone else find that syndication helps erode their interest in these releases? I got season 3 for Christmas, and have watched maybe two episodes. I'm not *that* interested in commentaries, although I do watch them occasionally for Simpsons where I wouldn't for a movie. But by 'gotta-have-it' drive is weakened, by the fact that my syndi channel will probably be playing season 4 right about the time the set comes out.
I'll still get it, and wouldn't mind if they sped up a little bit, but I might not get it release week. Thanks for the update though.

Excellent, now Simpsons season 4, Curb Your Enthusiasm season 2 and Aqua Teen Hunger Force Volume 2 come out on June 15th. My three favorite shows on the same day. And I noticed deleted scenes in the press release, can't wait to see those.

"have no fear...we'll have stories for years...
How bout a crazy wedding...where something happens..and doo doo doo doooooo
Sorry for the clip show...."
(Disc 3 last show)
Can't wait!! And no...syndication doesn't damper my excitement. They tend to show the same ones over and over. Plus they come on at a time that doesn't work with my schedule.

The Monorail song in 5.1. I'm so there.
I've just started picking up the Futurama boxes - not because I like the show (or have even seen it yet) but becaue the Simpsons releases are so long in coming that I need some more Groening magic to tide me over.

I was thinking awhile back, wondering what the commentary would be like for one of The Simpsons clip-shows. It would seem kinda pointless, unless they'll just be bitching about having to do a clip show.
Who knows. Maybe they'll just edit together a track of the original commentaries for the clips.

I believe dbmottle's joke is in reference to last year (or the year before that) in which LotR and Simpsons Season _ came out on the same day. I think it was hailed the greatest day for DVD by several folks.
