Does anyone know what the The Simpsons Gone WILD DVD is about? It is in the simpson product booklet that came with the season set.

I also have a stand alone burner and can burn them to DVD anytime I want.

Commentaries mean everything to me on these things!

Well, let's pretend you're not talking about bootlegging your downloaded Simpsons episodes for a moment.

If you were to take such episodes, and burn them on a DVD-R, it doesn't add quality to the episodes. It doesn't enhance the picture, it doesn't enhance the sound for 5.1 surround sound... you really can't go wrong with buying this set.

Looks like another compilation disc. The cover art is the same as this R2 release.

I wasn't. At all. Never downloaded an episode of anything ever from the 'net. If I have them on VHS taped from the TV, I can easily transfer them to DVD. That's all. Of course it won't be as good of quality as an official dvd.

I'm just saying the commentaries are what makes me buy the sets. I've seen all the episodes multiple times. Practically have them all memorized. My screen name is based on the Simpsons (get it?) I want to know the information and inspiration behind the episodes.

Of course I want the seasons come out faster on DVD, but if they're sans commentary, I won't be buying.

The packaging is one of the best yet! I love this set!

QuiGonJosh 06-16-04 03:27 PM

some of the shows have 2 commentaries, and Conan is on the second one, at least it's that way on the Monorail episode.

Just watched Streetcar and Jon Lovitz is on the commentary and it's hilarious.

jeffkjoe 06-16-04 06:46 PM

Conan O'Brien is definitely on the commentary track for New Kid on the Block, disc 2.

QuiGonJosh 06-16-04 06:48 PM

I'll be damned! I didnt know they had 2 commentaries!

ruddiger_718 06-16-04 06:57 PM

I bought this with Futurama, and I don't know which to start with!

(I am sure there are worst things in life though.)

Al Padrino 06-16-04 11:22 PM

Simpsons, no contest. Not to open a can of worms, but Futurama has to be one of the more overrated shows on the 'net in recent years. It had its moments, but it's insane to say it was the next Simpsons.

You might want to re-visit your Season 3 Set of Simpsons, then. There are 2 commentaries on 1 episode in each of the discs (I think... Maybe check the easter eggs section).

I got my set today, I can't wait to listen to Conan...

QuiGonJosh 06-17-04 04:35 AM

OMFG!!! Must go back and re-watch Season 3!

Get Me Coffee 06-17-04 10:03 AM

Season 3 is a great season!

Ah ha! I was wondering where Conan was on the monorail commentary.

QuiGonJosh 06-17-04 01:32 PM

yeah...just listened to both of Conan's on S4...very funny stuff...

MasterCXtreme 06-17-04 04:17 PM

Anybody come across some easter eggs? I'll keep my eyes peeled in case I find something.

Me too, was getting worried that he didn't commentate for that episode.
