TPOTC bootlegs are out - $1.50
No, I won't buy you one - don't ask.
They have been out for a week here. "TUTKU" in Turkish. They look like the next generation of bootleg, good quality, made from an original print, very good cover printed from a poster. They are all over now for 2 Million Turkish Lira - about $1.50 US but will likely go down to 1/2 that in a week. Bootlegs are usually on the street here months before they come to the cinema and sometimes before they open in the US. Illegal but ignored.

It's just that we have certain shorthand here when talking about discs.
LotR = Lord of the Rings
AOTC = Attack of the Clones
POTC = Pirates of the Caribbean
I didn't even consider that there could be another film that someone would abbreviate like that and then not explain the acronym in their subject line or post.

Pirates of the Caribbean on bootleg? but you can buy it new for just a bit more and get a lot of extra's.
Here is news to you.. EVERYTHING gets bootlegged. most are often out on bootleg before it hits theaters.

Speaking of bootlegs, does anyone know what the deal is with the cheap box sets and movies from Hong Kong on ebay. I was recently looking for 24 season 2 and went ahead and bought one. I figured worse case I'm out $25. Are these legit or not?
