Fightin the system like two modern day Robin Hoods (Dukes coming to DVD!)

Dukes of Hazzard, The - Yee Haa! Release date, specs and more!
Posted by Gord Lacey (tvshowsondvd.com)

Get ready for action - Hazzard Country style - as the Duke boys and their beautiful cousin battle the law and fight for the good guys. With a knack for getting into trouble, The Dukes of Hazzard also have a way of getting out of it - eventually. In the meantime, there's racing cars, flying car, tumbling cars and plenty of ol' fashioned fun.
All 13 season 1 episodes (637 mins) will be available on this 3 disc set for a $39.98 SRP. Warner Bros Home Video have created some exciting new features for the DVD set including cast and crew commentary, "The 20th Anniversary Hazzard County Barbeque" documentary including John Schneider and Catherine Bach, and a "Dukes Driving 101" featurette including interviews with professional racecar drivers!

Look for the good ol' boys to arrive on DVD June 1st. Cover art will come in the next day or so.

I wonder if it's gonna have the one where there was some kind of mixup, they foiled Boss Hogg, made Roscoe look incompetent, and jumped the General Lee over a river.

In every single glorious, Daisy Duke filled episode . This was just about my favorite show when I was kid. I might pass out if I hear about Knight Rider.

How many seasons were there? Definitely a show I always loved, but not sure how many seasons I would need to own. If it only ran a couple seasons, I'm sure the completist in me would win out.

The best season of the Dukes. The first few episodes of season one Hazzard county had alot more paved roads. I think those were filmed somewhere in Georgia, after it became a big hit filming moved to the Warner Brothers lot in California.
One Armed Bandits
Daisy's Song
Mary Kaye's Baby
Repo Men
High Octane
Swamp Molly
Luke's Love Story
The Big Heist
Limo One is Missing
Deputy Dukes
Money to Burn
Route 7-11
Double Sting

Awsome!!

Loved the show as a kid, would even skip school to catch it

I had Dukes everything as a kid,big wheels,posters,photos...& so forth. Ahh memories.

Anyway since TNN which turned into the crappy SPIKETV stopped rerunning the show years ago. I thought I would never be able to revisit the series.

I just may have to pick up the dvd for nostalgias sake at the very least.

This show was filmed in Covington, GA (about 35 miles east of Atlanta) and I was on the small campus of Oxford College (where a friend of mine attended) when they filmed the opening shot of General Lee flying through the air in front of the clock tower.

Also, In the Heat of the Night (the TV series) was filmed there also.

At that, I'm not a fan of the show. The best news for me is that Warner's is releasing this in the correct 4:3 aspect ratio and not cropping it for 16:9 televisions (like they are doing with Kung Fu) as had been rumored. I'm hoping the 16:9 cropping of 4:3 shows is NOT a trend.

Totally awesome! I loved the series as a kid. My brother and I had our picture taken with Boss Hogg next to the General Lee. It was at a car show in Evansville Indiana. What a memorable event for me!!

Hey - I'm 25 and this show has been off the air for roughly 20 years and I still have DoH memorabilia in my bedroom.
