Hey all,

I work from home sometimes and as a result I have this almost irresistable urge to watch movies all day. One way I have found to get around this draw is to use DVD-Audio and Soundtrack CDs. I also like to watch movies with Score-Only tracks... the only problem is, I only have 1! (That I know of) That 1 is Superman.

So, my question is this: "What DVDs out there have Score-Only audio tracks?"

Finding Nemo has an isolated score? I don't remember that.

Holy Crap! Thanks Green Jello. Thanks to the others who also contributed. If there are any left that aren't on Green Jello's list here, please feel free to keep posting.

I hope this doesn't confuse things, but doesn't Apollo 13 have an isolated score as an easter egg?

edit: oh yearh, great list Green Jello. I've never listened to a complete isolated score. I think I'll have to check some of these out just for curiousity's sake.

I couldn't find one on Finding Nemo. Perhaps as an Easter Egg somewhere (not according to DVD Talk easter egg section.) Oh, and Apollo 13 does have an isolated score according to DVD Talks Easter Egg section:

Green Jello has The Professional on his list... I guess it should be ammended to be Leon: The Professional... unless both versions have it.

Strange, I'm not sure about Finding Nemo either, but it's on the info I have. I'll have to check when I get home. According to Widescreen Review's Review of it, it is there.

Also, I didn't have this in a form I could just cut and paste, so I had to type it all in, so I left off what versions (SE, UE, CE, etc.) they were. After all, I do have to get SOME work done.

Hey what you gave us is awesome! Now that I know you typed it all in one-by-one, that is even more impressive, and I thank you for, and appreciate the amount of time you had to put into it.

(BTW, I am listening to the Apollo 13 isolated score and it is great!)

Escaflowne: the Movie has an isolated score track too. Besides that, Green Jello's list looks pretty comprehensive -- he's listed all the other DVDs I've got with an isolated score.

It's a really nice special feature, and it's one I wish more DVDs had. It's a crying shame they had to drop the isolated score track from FOTR EE.

Dante's Peak. The score music is actually played when you watch one of the suplemental material items (behind the scenes making of or something). You can change the audio option to get just the music.

Hey thanks everyone. I now have a plethora of score only DVDs to listen to while I work. At the end of today I will post the complete list (Mostly the work of Green Jello) that I have been updating in Excel as people add more posts.

Dont pat yourself on the back yet - there's a bunch of discs not yet mentioned. The Doctor Who releases have a bunch of isolated scores -

* The Visitation
* Earthshock
* The 5 Doctors (sort of - there's half an hour of music included on the disc, but it's a seperate feature)
* Ressurection of the Daleks
* The Caves of Androzoni
* The Two Doctors
* Rememberance of the Daleks
* The Curse of Fenric

Forgot to mention, Looney Tunes Golden Collection has Isolated Scores on certain shorts.

The Adventures of Robin Hood has a score only track.
I know that Monsters, Inc. has an FX track which I think it also includes the score.
