I usually watch it if I have time to indulge. For example Apocalypse Now Redux offers the chance to think in a quiet rain dropping scenery. Platoon and Predator both have recollection of characters/actors stared, accompanied by its theme music. Those are fun to watch.

I paid for the movie, I always watch the whole thing.
Some people have said that they never watch credits unless there are credit cookies - how would you know if there was anything special unless you watched it? Or are you one of those idiots who asks someone about the credits as they're coming out of the theatre?
I've actually been accosted by people when I was leaving a theatre that was obviously over: "Was there anything cool at the end of the credits?"
Well, I guess you'll have to buy a ticket and find out for yourself, sport.

I always watch the credits. I usually want to see the credits for the music, and I went to school with someone who is now a sound editor, so I like to look for his name.

Not in the cinema unless I know for sure there are bloopers or extra footage. As far as DVDs go, whether it's the movie or listening to the commentary, I've actually gotten into the habit of watching the end credits all the way through. The movie almost feels incomplete if I skip them.

I'm the same as many have already said. If there is something specific I'm looking for or like the song I'll watch the credits, otherwise no.
For those who say it's disrespectful to not watch them, I'm wondering why. Do you feel the same about other products you buy? Do you read the insert in a music CD to see who wrote all the lyrics and music too? When you buy a new car do you call the manufacturer to find out who installed the windshield wipers?
If someone is standing in front of you while you are trying to watch them, I'd say that's more rude than disrespectful, but that's just my opinion.

Nope. Although I usually fast forward through them to see if there's anything special at the end.

No, I'm not one of those idiots who asks people coming out of the theater, since I'm already in the car halfway home. If there aren't bloopers or sing-alongs playing when the credits start rolling, I leave. I could care less about sitting through 5-10 minutes of scrolling words to massage people's egos to see a two second shot of a fish getting eaten or some actor asking me what I'm still doing here. I feel the same way about easter eggs on DVD's. If the producers want to be cute and hide something away, good for them. I'm not wasting my time to try and find them. I'm there to watch a movie not read a novel

Sometimes I watch the end credit of a movie. If the music during end credit is good, I will stay to listen. Or if the movie is good or deep, I might stay around to absorb and process what I just saw.
