The Final Countdown (2 Disk) worth getting ?

I noticed there are two different version of this film. the 2 disc (limited to 100,000 copies apparently) and the regular.

Just wondering if its worth the 2 disc and which version you guys were getting. I havent seen this film since i was a kid but remember liking it

Well IMHO, the 2 disc's supplement just doesnt interest me as much, I mean interview with pilots? Wish they gotten a interview with Kirk Douglas or martin sheen. 1 disc will be fine by me.

Wow I had no idea Lloyd Kaughman of Troma infamy was an Associate Producer on the film!!

Still being low on cash. I may go with the 1 disc release,it is $11.98 at DDD...& I have not seen the film before aside from brief moments on tv. So it will be nice to see the entire thing in its proper AR!

I'm going with the 2-disc version. It's only $6 more than the single disc at deepdiscountdvd.com, and it has an eye-catching lenticular cover.

I can't remember the exact number, but the 2d is of a very limited supply... so, it will be more rare.

Having the movie in anamorphic widescreen is more than enough. I could care less for this supposed collector's edition which they have decided to charge more for.....they should be selling this 2 disc version for the $13.99 price and not even making people decide on which version they should buy. IMO

I'm on the fence now.. the 2nd disc sounds disappointing.

No commentary from any of the stars..

Went for the 2-Disc myself. It was only a few bucks more at DDD so couldn't pass it up.
