Big Fish on 4/27

DVD Empire has the box art and some specs on the DVD release of Big Fish.

Just thought I'd point that out cause I can't wait for this movie. One Tim Burton's best films. I hope they do more with this movie and not release a bare bones disc.

My lord. That cover sucks. It would be good but they had to slap on "ACADEMY AWARDS" "FOUR STARS" "GREAT MOVIE" "AMAZING" "OBEY"

Considering that Columbia (AKA "We Love Putting Big Floating Heads On Covers") produced the DVD, the cover art looks great. I will agree that awards blurbs are a bit too much.

It's a nice cover. I like it. At least they kept the original art and not some new photoshopped image of the father's head on the big fish.

Ok, way too much writing on that cover, but I don't care. I am getting it anyway, because it is such a great movie.

SOLD!

The fact that this appears to be quite an 'extras-laden' release is also an added bonus to the fact that i rather enjoyed this in the theater.
As stated earlier, despite all the quotes etc on the cover i am pleased it faithfully replicates the posters and i for one will be placing a pre-order.

I am buying this movie for sure, but that cover doesn't really seem like it's a final cover for some reason to me.

I am definately getting this. I am happily surprised to see the amount of extras... I thought for sure that Columbia would try to pull a "Panic Room" on us and release a mock-superbit disc.... I can't wait.
