I hope they have bigger plans for it.

I've been hoping all the ren & stimpy cartoons come out on DVD. I didn't even know about this. After buying the beavis and butthead set from timelife though, I'll wait.

There have been rumors that season sets or collections would be released. I wish I had a link that I could find you, but I'm pretty sure that I remember reading it somewhere.

It's one of Time Life's biggest seller and the fact that it was dropped suggests two things in my mind - 1) They simply could not keep it in stock and took the item off the site to fill an overwhelming back order and it will return in the future (semi likely) or 2) they lost the rights to sell it and it was not renewed because something bigger is planned (more likely)

If there is a collection in the making i hope whoever is doing it keeps the great orginal episodes seperate from the newer, unfunny garbage shows.

The T-L set was a waste of money - very poorly mastered, not all the classic John K. episodes included (where was "Stimpy's Fan Club"?), next to no extras. Inevitably, it'll be reissued, and you're better off waiting.

The TL discs looked like crap. My VHS dubs from TV looked better (no exageration). That, coupled with the 'random' nature of the collection made it easy to skip.
