Where is my Sea Hawk?
I hope that the Pirates of the Carribian craze will finally bring "The Sea Hawk" to DVD. I'm talking about the Michael Curtiz direct classic adventure tale starring Errol Flynn what I consider his best action performance (Yes, better than Robin Hood.) Any other fans of this classic wondering if/when it will make it?

I would also like a "Captain Blood" DVD.

In addition to those already mentioned, as a big fan of Errol Flynn I'm eagerly awaiting a DVD release for:
The Charge of the Light Brigade
The Dawn Patrol
Dodge City
Virginia City
They Died with Their Boots On
Desperate Journey
Gentleman Jim
San Antonio
Against All Flags
I hope someone can scrounge up the film elements from his abandoned William Tell (1953) and include it as an extra on one of the DVD releases.
Two films of his which I've never seen are:
Too Much, Too Soon (with Flynn as John Barrymore)
Mara Maru
They aren't even available on VHS. So I hope someone releases them as well.

Was Sea Hawk cut for re-release? And is so, does anyone know if a complete version exists?
On William Tell, this would be great if any of the footage exists. Academy Award winning cinematographer Jack Cardiff (Black Narcissus) was the director, and filmed some footage in color before the funding ran out (I believe Flynn was financing this on his own as an independent production).

Sea Hawk was cut for rerelease
but a British complete print was found and used for the MGM VHS release. This included a
scene not in the original US release concerning war. So the complete film is available. I don't know if restoration is necessary for DVD release

I have Santa Fe Trail from Roan Group, and while it is acceptable, I would love to see a restored transfer.
As a side note, stay away from the Alpha version of Santa Fe Trail. It is unwatchable.
