2 disc set?
Yup, two discs - artwork now added
great!
keepcase too. very nice. |
No floating heads? Nice! Glad that they are doing a Hollywood vs. History section, though I am certain that it will overlook the movie's shortcomings and just talk about story differences instead of historical innacuracies.
My second favorite movie of last year, so I am very excited for this. Anyone else laugh when they saw the cover though? :)
At least it isn't floating heads. Thanks Tom!!! |
I didn't get a chance to see this one when it was out, so hopefully I'll get a chance to pick this up. Looks like it's pretty packed. Thanks for the info.
Would've preferred the one showing Tom's back in the middle of a fight stance, but that cover art's not so bad either. One of my favorites from last year, this is a sure pick-up.
Loved the film. Hate the cover-art.
awesome cover art! cant wait!
Looks like a decent release. I agree the coverart isn't spectacular, but at least it's not the standard "floating head" garbage that I'm getting used to. Also nice to see Warners using a keepcase for this release as opposed to the snapper.
It's a 2-disc set, so obviously they're not gonna use a snapper.
I also loved the movie. But the cover art is blah. K |
Good movie, decent art, not a snapper. Im in.

even more shocking is Warner didn't use the snapper case for their single disc release of "Turn Left Turn Right" (Warner Brothers first Chinese film) in their region 3 release. (they usually use the same old snapper case in their region 3 releases as well so this was definitely a shocker)
Cool cover and great features, not to mention a good (but not great) movie.
One of my top 5 films of last year. I really like the cover art and I'm glad they've included that History vs. Hollywood documentary.
How DARE they release a Tom Cruise DVD without the profile of his face. I'm shocked. SHOCKED.
Cocktail isn't a profile shot.
:up::drool::up:
Looking forward to this one. Very nice cover.
Looks like a good DVD. Hopefully, they will put the film's teaser and trailer on it. I thought those were really good previews. Thanks, really looking forward to picking this one up.

Man this is gonna be an awesome disc...I love this movie to death! Wonderful coverart as well! Why cant WB do the Matrix covers this well!
I really like that Cover, very nice
Cool, can't wait for this.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGHH!!! |
This sounds like a loaded disc. I loved the movie and can't wait to pick this up.
MATT |
I can't wait for this one. It was one of my favorites of 2003.
can't wait to get this either however am I the only one a bit dissapointed that they are not doing something like a deluxe editon which would look better than this ordinary 2disc-amaray with a nice cover? Something nice like master and commander design would be appreciated. I just hope there will be beautifull R3 or R2 Jap edition with some extras (nicer box, statues or something similar)
I just loved the movie so much that I want even nicer packaging :) |

:yack: at the new cover. Tom Cruise looks so...floaty.
Great, can't wait.
Stupid new cover. Why can't they leave it alone?
I am laughing my ass off that they changed the cover to the floating head, Tom Cruise profile we would have all expected. So very predictable.
Thanks for the info  One of the better mainstream releases last year. I'll be geting it.
(Oh, the cover art ain't great, but it could be worse.) EDIT TO ADD: OK, I just saw the revised cover and I was right, It could be worse :( |
Loved the movie, huge surprise for me considering my utter disbelief when I saw Cruise being touted as the Last Samurai. My second favorite movie of the year - Ken Wantanabe's performance was riveting, Cruise surprised me at how subdued his performance was next to Wantanabe's...it goes back to the directing of Zwick. Simply outstanding movie, well worth owning.
:rotfl: Cruise's name is on par with the size of the movie title on that cover art! However, I did like the previous art more, regardless, this will grace my DVD shelf when it's released. |
