great!

keepcase too. very nice.

No floating heads? Nice! Glad that they are doing a Hollywood vs. History section, though I am certain that it will overlook the movie's shortcomings and just talk about story differences instead of historical innacuracies.

My second favorite movie of last year, so I am very excited for this. Anyone else laugh when they saw the cover though? :)
At least it isn't floating heads.
Thanks Tom!!!

I didn't get a chance to see this one when it was out, so hopefully I'll get a chance to pick this up. Looks like it's pretty packed. Thanks for the info.

Kal-El 02-11-04 04:47 PM

Would've preferred the one showing Tom's back in the middle of a fight stance, but that cover art's not so bad either. One of my favorites from last year, this is a sure pick-up.

LivingINClip 02-11-04 05:07 PM

Loved the film. Hate the cover-art.

babka 02-11-04 05:08 PM

awesome cover art! cant wait!

PalmerJoss 02-11-04 05:09 PM

Looks like a decent release. I agree the coverart isn't spectacular, but at least it's not the standard "floating head" garbage that I'm getting used to. Also nice to see Warners using a keepcase for this release as opposed to the snapper.

Cornelius1047 02-11-04 05:20 PM

It's a 2-disc set, so obviously they're not gonna use a snapper.

I also loved the movie. But the cover art is blah.

Im sold! The H v H feature was awesome on the History Channel. I actually like this cover, infinitely better than the Kill Bill cover we have seen.

even more shocking is Warner didn't use the snapper case for their single disc release of "Turn Left Turn Right" (Warner Brothers first Chinese film) in their region 3 release. (they usually use the same old snapper case in their region 3 releases as well so this was definitely a shocker)

Simpson Purist 02-11-04 05:30 PM

Cool cover and great features, not to mention a good (but not great) movie.

Supreme Sean 02-11-04 05:42 PM

One of my top 5 films of last year. I really like the cover art and I'm glad they've included that History vs. Hollywood documentary.

fumanstan 02-11-04 05:49 PM

How DARE they release a Tom Cruise DVD without the profile of his face. I'm shocked. SHOCKED.

Psychlowne 02-11-04 06:42 PM

Cocktail isn't a profile shot.

BlackBeauty92 02-11-04 06:53 PM

bis22 02-11-04 06:54 PM

Looking forward to this one. Very nice cover.

dcprules 02-11-04 07:07 PM

Looks like a good DVD. Hopefully, they will put the film's teaser and trailer on it. I thought those were really good previews. Thanks, really looking forward to picking this one up.
