Does Blockbuster rent the UNRATED version of Caligula as well as many titles that could easily be considered softcore pornography?

My Blockbuster only had the RATED version of Alice in Underworld, but it was WS so my tv won't play it.

BBV should really switch to the rhythm method.

Wonderland and Store Clerks

Speaking of twits working in stores, I had a rough time locating Wonderland at my local BestBuy. I couldn't find it on shelves or in new release section. I asked a guy there where it was and he said if it was a new release it would be on the new release table.

I knew that was trouble already.

I advised him that I had looked there. He had to go over and look again and advised me they didn't carry it. I told him it was in the sales flyer. He looked put out, but said, "I guess I could look in the computer." Great.

He looks and can't find it. He then says "Oh, you want Alice in Wonderland. We have that, but it's not a new release." I explained it wasn't that, but was a new release. He said that it wasn't a movie, but a cartoon. I said, "Look, it isn't a cartoon, it is a movie about the life of a porn star." It isn't exactly that, but I just wanted to shake him up. He said they didn't carry it. I showed him the picture in their flyer. He was totally confused.

I did find it, but it wasn't by the other movies, but a display by the CD's.

What a night.

Can anyone post a picture of the so called 2 disc edition? I've never seen this, just the one disc version. Thanks!

It looks exactly the same as the single disc one (front and back), the only difference is a sticker on the front. The 2nd disc isn't even mentioned on the back of the 2-disc release.

So BBV has a problem with this: " Wadd: The Life and Times of John C. Holmes (1 hour, 45 minutes): Included in its entirety is the 1998 documentary about John Holmes..."

Thats what BBV is calling porn? Lets see you can rent the unrated cuts of Sex and Lucia and Y Tu Mama Tambien at my local store, but you cant rent a documentary on John Holmes. Thats just stupid, Im not interested in the movie, but BBV's stance is just stupid.

This is the funniest thread I've read in a while.

I rented Wonderland with the Wadd bonus disc yesterday. No idea what the fuss is.

I'm glad I can't rent this... but I can rent Showtime softcore porn. Not to mention Ichi the Killer: Uncut.

We have our priorities all messed up.

Is this John Holmes documentary the one that they couldn't get the rights to for the Boogie Nights DVD?

sorry to write seriously in this thread, but it is the second disc of wonderland that they have removed from the rental shelves...

i rented wonderland, and the bbv removed the wrong disc, so i watch the documentary, returned it, and saw the movie...

the documentary is called wadd or johnny wadd, and i believe it is the documentary that was supposed to be on boogie nights - in fact pt anderson was interviewed for the documentary - full frontal nudity is shown in the documetary (not the film wonderland), but IMO it showed no more stuff than boogie nights did (which is on bbv shelves)
