Why don't TV box sets always list out all the extras?
If they're going to have selected commentaries, scripts and interviews as extras on a TV Box Set, is it too much to ask that they at least list the discs and episodes where these extras appear?
I just picked up Xena Season 3, for example. That's a set of 8 DVDs for the season (plus a 9th CD-ROM disc) but nowhere in the packaging does it say where any of the extras are except for a few bonus features on the 8th disc. Now I either need to make sure to watch ALL the extras on each disc as I go through them. Or else if I want to watch any of the commentaries and such sometime in the future instead I'm going need to wade through 8 discs; going from the main menu to each episode screen and back just to see if it has any commentaries or other extras for me to watch.
I don't know about everyone else, but looking through 6-8 DVDs of a 20+ episode season set to find 2-4 commentary tracks is just not my idea of fun.
With Xena it's not that much of a problem for me to watch the extras as I go along, because I've seen the entire run when it first aired. But for other people who haven't and want to avoid spoilers of future seasons, or for other shows that I am watching for the first time on DVD it sure would be nice to always have some sort of reference to where the extras are if we want to back and watch sometime in the distant future.
I know for a fact that some shows already do list them in booklets and such (Yay!), but for the ones that don't- Please find somewhere in the packaging where you can start listing these sorts of extras out explicity to make it easy for your customers to find them. Anyone else agree?

I agree. I was so happy when The Critic came out but upset about the lack of extras (the box said nothing and I didn't check out any online retailers) But it's full of commentaries, the web episodes and more! You think they'd sell a lot more copies by showing off the features.
I can understand not being able to fit all special features on the box but at least a hint would be nice in some cases.

Some titles of featurettes could left out for spoiler reasons, but where's the spoiler in puting something like: "Episode 3.1 'The Furies' (with optional commentary by Rob Tapert, Liz Friedman and R.J. Stewart)" somewhere inside the DVD packaging?
