Man, is the upcoming TMNT S1 disc cover ugly!

Why, why, why? This cover completely goes against the tone of the series. It reminds me of H.R. Pufnstuf, minus the nagging feeling to go into rehab.

I don't really mind the "cute" look of the Turtles. I remember alot of their toys and merchandise having that style look. It reminds me of their Archie comics.

Is this the entire first season? That seems like alot of episodes for only 14.99 MSRP.

That's not the cover. DVDEmpire is known for using temp art until official art is released.

The entire first season is only 5 episodes. This release includes 4 unreleased episodes produced at the end of the series meant to be a "wrapup" of the storyline.

I don't know what Lion's Gate/Artisan thinks "sweeeeet" is, but it's definitely not that cover.
