Welcome to the forum my namesake! Videoeta.com lists a possible April 2004 release date.

I loved this movie! Ken Watanabe's performance was fantastic. It was in my top 5 of the year.

No offense to any memebrs here, but this is the last place I would go to for reviews and recommendations.

True. This forum is mostly for bitching about inserts, non-anamorphic transfers, the Star Wars SEs, not enough extras, floating head cover art, original poster cover art, any kind of cover art, case types, forced trailers, release dates, delays, censorship of cartoon poon, OAR, how Universal has screwed up another release, breaking street date, rattlers, double-sided discs, no disc art, crappy disc art, security stickers, those tabs to open some cases, snappers, dvd-selling martyrdom, dvd rot, remastered versus original soundtracks, and 20% new animation.

That doesn't leave a lot of time to discuss the actual *films*.

I think that's about the best post ever.

But anyways, on topic, according to DVDAnswers, the Region 2 version's coming out on May 7th. I'd expect the Region 1 version sometime around there.

Looking forward to it....going to be interesting to see what supplemental material they decide to include on the disc...hopefully some kind of documentary etc..chronicling the history of the Samurai/Ronin etc.
