Will anyone ever release any Filmation cartoon show on DVD?

So far I've seen Fat Albert on DVD courtesy of Time Life, but what about the rest of the Filmation cartoon library? I mean there are so many great shows I'm dying to have on DVD from Filmation like: Batman, Superman, Aquaman, The Archies, Archies Funhouse, The Groovie Ghoolies, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, etc, etc...Just so many great shows...Who owns the rights to these shows? Will they ever be put out on DVD or do we have to wipe our Saturday Morning memories clean?

There's rumors floating about regarding a release of Star Trek: The Animated Series. As I remember, the animation was so rough on the Archie shows that you could probably fit a whole season on one disc. I'd like to see the old Batman series though (I'm talking about the one from the 60's and not that horrible one with Batmite from the late 70's or early 80's).

Speaking of the old He-Man series..

I hope they make the visual quality better and call it:

HE-MAN: RE-MASTERED OF THE UNIVERSE

A public domain loophole has Fraidy Cat (one of the segments from Uncle Croc's Block) on a 2001 release from Brentwood's Digital Media Experience label. There's about an hour of Fraidy Cat cartoons, but none of the live-action segments from Croc. It's hardly one of their best series, but it is Filmation.

I'm hoping The Groovie Ghoolies, Archies Funhouse, Batman and Superman finally get released, but seeing how Warner/DC owns the rights to those last 2 characters, I doubt we'll ever see the Filmation series come out on DVD.

Each disc has 6 episodes each, in production order.

Volume 1:
The Cosmic comet
The Shaping staff
Disappearing act
Diamond ray of disapearance
She-demon of Phantos
Teela's quest

Volume 2:
The Curse of the Spellstone
The Time Corridor
The Dragon Invasion
A Friend in Need
Masks of power
Evil-Lyn's plot

(And before you ask, there were two seasons and 130 episodes overall - not counting specials and stuff)

Is the Iron Cross intact or did it get the WWF logo treatment?

Nope - He-Man's chest is intact and original, just as you remember as a kid. Take a peek for yourself:

All I'd like from their catalog (apart from the Star Trek stuff) is:

Journey To The Center of the Earth
Fantastic Voyage
and
The Young/Space Sentinels!

As mentioned in this thread, StarTrek.com is asking for input on the possibility of releasing this series. Was ST:TAS a Filmation title?

Well, I get my He-Man discs from Blackstar. They're pretty cheap, pretty fast (Takes about a week from Belfast to Seattle most of the time) and they ship anywhere in the world.

He Man Vol 1

He Man vol 2

Pre order for Vol 3

You can also get an exclusive cover for vol 2 from HMV - but I've never done business with them, so I cant attest to their relibility.
