Whatever happened to Home Improvement?
I recall last year at this time discussion that Home Improvement would be coming out in season sets. Are they still forth coming or have they been delayed?

Much like Seinfeld and Friends, Home Improvement makes a huge amount of money in syndication. Disney/Touchstone probably isn't in any hurry to release it on DVD because of this.
Personally, I still love the show and would love to have the complete run on DVD. I still have the first 5 or 6 seasons recorded on VHS stored away.

What every happened to home improvement? Well, it always starts with lofty goals, but soon you're cutting corners, quiting jobs halfway through and telling yourself "Eh, I can live with no cupboard for six months."
At least that's how my projects go.

A little off topic, but I recently found out that Earl Hindman, Wilson from the show, died earlier this year of lung cancer. I couldn't believe that, I think he was one of the best parts of the show.

He was one of the best parts of the show. Didn't he finally reveal his face during the last episode? Been so long since I've seen it.

I have my DVD calendar marked for the hopeful 11/30 release of this gem from the 90s.
As with most family sitcoms, it sort of fell off toward the end (especially when the kid turned goth), but I would still buy all seasons.
Looking forward to it!
RIP Earl (AKA Wilson!)

How many seasons did this show run, and if anybody knows what season ran the episode where tim goes in for a vasectomy and the doctor won't let him drive home, my personal favorite episode, man was that funny...
