I picked up the Jurassic Park Trilogy for Costco right before cristmas for a whopping 22.50. I am totally serious. Indiana Jones was on sale too for 31.50, but I got that for Christmas so I didnt get it. Thanks for the comment.

You know, I was at Best Buy yesterday thinking about what you guys have all said. I found myself wanting to get more and more classic films. I know my collection does have a bunch of recent films but right now I am trying to branch out. In a previous thread I wrote that I have to pick and choose what films I can buy due to a minimum wage job while saving for a car that I'll need for college. but next time I go out I think that I'll pick up some classics soon. And about Criterion (on how i want so many someday) they only have ONE at my best buy. and I have it (fear and loathing). So gettin those is pretty hard for me without going online. Anyways, thanks again for the input and I will be sure to refer to the forum the next time I get some DVDs. I am already thinking about getting some of the two-disc award winners from Warners they have at Costco for 17 bucks and then with the coupon I could get a third one. Thanks again!

PS I am trying to branch out and get more into older films, preferably Criterion movies. Any suggestions on any of those films? I am (HOPEFULLY) soon to be in film school and I need to have a knowledge of films that were made before the 70s and 80s.

How about some hitchcock movies? Vertigo, Rear Windows, Notorious, Rebecca, etc...

If you want a Depp flick, Polanski's The Ninth Gate is pretty good.
