The original Meet The Parents was already a SE, a Collector's Edition title actually with plenty of supplements. Universal will probably try to capitalize somehow on it, but I don't know yet. If you don't have the original yet, pick it up, it's a really good disc.

I doubt we will see a SE of Mars Attacks. I'm not sure if it's a big enough movie for Warner to spend the money on.
The current version looks decent and it's anamorphic, OAR, and 5.1.

I would. Even though Nicholson wouldn't do anything for it, it would be nice to hear/see Burton's views on the film.
Plus I already own the original (thankfully did not pay anything for it) only because Nicholson was in it.
BTW, it's an OK flick.

Mars Attacks was one of the original DVD releases (I think there were nine from WB just before the first players hit the market) and was the first DVD I'd ever seen played, back in June 1997.
The Martian Language Track is still one of my favourite special features of all time.

Mars Attacks was one of my favorite movies the year it came out. It's hilarious - espcially if you are familiar with some of the movies that it spoofs. I think that it's vastly underrated. Don't expect an SE at any time, though.

Snoopy:
I have a simple question for you. Look at what is on "Meet the Parents" and tell me what more would you possibly want on a "special Ed" re-release of this film and please don't say uh.....DTS. Why do people always ask this question when a title is already maxed out?
