In other words, please use a question mark in your thread title if you're asking a question. Otherwise people click in here hoping to read information about an announcement.

Peter Straddon of Fox stated in the HTF chat that there are no plans for a SE and that a sequel is more likely to happen before a SE DVD.

I've only been on these boards for a few weeks but I just have to say that a lot of you seem like really snobbish, self-centered, anal-retentive people. There's a way to be helpful and informative instead of being an ass. Not everyone is familiar with how you do things in your little corner of cyberspace. So go ahead and rip me a new one but at least I said what I wanted to say.

Newbies should know better than to post anything before performing a search first!

I may be snobbish, and anal, and self-centered, but... what was the fourth thing you said?

MrBumpo...

This board is amazing because it is full of "really snobbish, self-centered, anal-retentive people." For reference try the boards at "coming soon." This place actually expects something from its poster, that most other boards don't.

So maybe he did and didn't find anything so he thought he would ask if someone knew. His post certainly didn't deserve the responses he received. Maybe since all of you welcomed him so graciously he won't come back because here at the DVD talk forums everyone is welcomed by inane comments.

Oh, I'm sorry do we have to pass some sort of A-hole inquivelancy test or something? He asked a question, a simple "yes" or "no" or a "check this forum" would have sufficed. Instead it's become a pissing contest.

the search option on this site is useless half the time. the smarmy, snobbish comments from some of the members is what ruins this forum. pull the "criterion" out of your ass and give it a rest!

I kind of like that the board is filled with elitest A-holes. At least most of the time I can find out what I need to know at this board. While I try to not indulge in the newbie bashing most times, I do enjoy the read.

And in closing we learned...

A. Use a ? when posting a question.
B. Use the damn search feature.
C. Your I.Q. must be higher than your shoesize to register for the forums.

At least someone else agrees with me. I've read a bunch of posts on here and the lot of it is entirely laughable. I find it hard to believe that some of you are able to function on any sort of social level.

People come here to discuss things and have a good time and some laughs. Not get crapped on about a stupid question mark.

The search function works but you need to be smart about how you use it and search.

As far as the whole "?" issue.....people should know to use one when asking a question. It's common sense and therefore I don't feel bad when someone jumps on a new member and gives them a bit of a hard time. I really want an Office Space SE and if I had been the first one in this thread I would of been a bigger A-hole than we have seen so far.

Can I raise practical question at this point? Is there an OFFICE SPACE SE in the works?

(...and will we be doing "Stonehenge" tomorrow...?)
