Phantasm 2 and 3 Region 1 DVD's, legit?
I was not aware of these ever being released on Region 1, but theres a seller on ebay selling both of them. The copies look legit and have extras, and the guy has good feed back rating. Here's the link.

They are not legit, they are bootlegs. Phantasm 2 and 3 have not been officaly released in the USA on DVD.
Trust me on this. I am a phan of the series, and have been waiting for a decent treatment from the studios.
The only film released on DVD in the USA are Phantasm, and Phantasm 4

Not so good. Someone would buy those bootlegs and think they sucked because they were bootlegs, but in reality they'd suck because they were taken from the crappy R2 releases.
The R2 releases are low budget all the way. Both came with an insert which goes with the 1st movie, not the other 2. Don't know why 2 & 3 got the same insert as 1. #2 is full frame, and I believe slightly edited. It feels that way anyways. #3 I believe is also full frame, but I can't say that it's edited. Really bad video quality too. If you find them cheap it beats not having them at all.
