stupid tape "security device enclosed" on dvd

why are they so hard to get off as of late? i end up ruining the plastic on the cover.

any easier way to peel that POS off?

try cutting it down the middle of the sticker and then pull it apart slowly

I picked up Buffy Season 1 and it had one of the plastic tags on the cardboard case, which tore a bit of the image. Quite irritating.
