I have a modest(erm..small) collection so my rewatch rate is fairly high. Most of the movies I buy are older ones I've had on tape over the years, usually off of cable. These are movies I've found myself returning to many times so I guess I can say they've been tried and tested. I'm glad to finally have many of them on such a great format.

I recently signed up a for a free trial to a rental service so I'll be able to sample many films I've never seen that I wasn't prepared to purchase. First film arrived today.

This post is exactly the reason why the economy is lagging. Folks are too busy working on useless dvd info, and not bringing in the bucks!!

Here are my unofficial stats. Although these are not correct. I'm taking the stats from the DVD Inventory program that I wrote and it wasn't finished until March of 2002. I have watched many of these movies many times before then.

Total DVD's = 224

watched 5x = 002 (00.1%)
watched 4x = 003 (01.3%)
watched 3x = 009 (04.0%)
watched 2x = 058 (25.9%)
watched 1x = 172 (65.2%)
watched 0x = 006 (02.7%)

I'm at over 300 and more than 100 of them are still in the shrinkwrap. I need a new job that gives me more time to watch movies!

It would be kinda cool to have kept track, but at this point I just have no idea how many times I've watched a particular title.
