They Live Re-Issue Question
I did a search for information on the reissue of They Live on DVD, and came up with TONS of threads having nothing to do with John Carpenter's They Live (pretty much every thread about a live music dvd). Is there a difference between the reissue and the original Image release? I already know about the great R2 version, but I only want to compare the OOP and current R1 release. Wondering in case I need to do a double dip on this great movie.

I have the R2 which is > 2.5:1 during the credits, then back to 2.35:1 for the rest of the film. Is the R1 the same?

R1 is not cropped like R2.

The whole thing is slightly cropped on non-R1
