The Cooler Coming April 27
The latest from Lion's Gate Home Entertainment, who will release the critically acclaimed drama The Cooler on April 27th. This Oscar hopeful, which stars Alec Baldwin, Ron Livingston and SAG nominee Maria Bello, comes complete with an anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track, plus two cast and crew audio commentaries, the "Anatomy of a Scene" TV special, deleted scenes plus an alternate ending in script form, storyboards, a short film by director Wayne Kramer, and trailers. Retail will be $26.95.

Um, you figure they'd mention William H. Macy - since he happens to be the star of the film.

Great news. Of course this movie wasn't shown in any theaters around my area, but I think I can survive for another 3 months.

Alright!
This was one of my favorite movies of last year, sadly many theaters didn't show it and other ones didn't show it for long. Hopefully the DVD will give this film the fans it deserves.

even though I like William H. Macy as an actor, I am kind of glad Lions Gate spared us the imagery of him doing the 'extra' nasty in the unrated version, no but in all seriousness, this is just another example of the hypocracy of Lions Gate Home Video and release some movies in their unrated versions on home video 'Irreversible' and 'Monster's Ball' and others not: 'Rules of Attraction'
